The Biocomputation Research Lab at Dublin City University's School of Computing is a multi-disciplinary group applying computational models to the Biosciences and comprises 3 staff and 7 Postgraduate (PG) Researchers (1 IRCSET PD and 4 IRCSET PG funded). Formally established in 2001, it has developed into a hard-working, capable and adaptable group working on the translation of models to like systems. A key element of the work of the group is to infer information from the `system' that generated the original (experimental) data, opening up the possibility of individual-level therapeutic models, based on personal data.
