Ireland's most popular computing degree... the practical, industry-oriented focus means it is favoured by students and employers alike.

Students will specialise in software engineering and programming and will complete projects in 3rd and 4th year which they can then demonstrate at the Final Year Champagne Breakfast & Final Year Project Display.

CA students undertake a six month paid work placement during the third year of their degree. This workplace experience gives Computer Applications graduates a distinct advantage in the buoyant graduate employment market.

Special Entry Requirements:

  • OC3/HD3 in Mathematics
  • Minimum CAO Points - 300 (points varies from year to year depending on demand)
  • NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTING NECESSARY!
