GDF Part-time course accepted as part of the new Springboard Initiative

The 11th International Conference Software Process Improvement and Capability dEtermination (SPICE) will be held in Dublin City University from 30 May to 1 June 2011 and is co-chaired by Dr. Rory O'Connor from the School of Computing, DCU.

SAP Workshop a Great Success

SAP Workshop 2011The Business Informatics Groupin conjunction with the SAP University Alliance,  hosted a SAP Introductory Workshop from May 16th - 20th at Dublin City University.  SAP Introductory Workshops are for a faculty that are beginning to use the software in teaching and research and need to understand the fundamentals of using SAP, or for those who would like a refresher course before commencing teaching.  The workshop ran for 5 days in the School of Computing and was a great succes.  Well done to Dr. Markus Helfert who co-ordinated the event.  For further information contact markus.helfert@computing.dcu.ie

Final Year Project Expo 2011

FYP Expo Logo 2011Dublin City University Faculty of Engineering and Computing, will host their Final Year Projects Expo 2011on Tuesday 31stMay 2011 in the Helix

For over 20 years the Schoolof Computing in DCU have run this event to promote and celebrate their final year graduates on the BSc in Computer Applications course. This year we are also delighted to promote our final year graduates from the School of Electronic Engineering. The event will take place on Tuesday morning 31stMay at 8.00am in the Helix with a breakfast and proceedings will be opened by our DCU President Prof. Brian McCraith, joined by guest speaker Liam Ryan, Managing Director from SAP Ireland.
