PhD candidate Fiona Dermody wins Women in Science PhD Poster Competition

Fiona Dermody L'Oreal24th May 2018 - Fiona Dermody, PhD student at the School of Computing, was one of the two winners at the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science PhD Poster Competition in the Royal Society last night.

The For Women In Science Fellowship recognises the achievements and contributions of exceptional females across the globe, by awarding promising scientists with Fellowships to help further their research. The poster competition was open to female PhD Students in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science and Maths.
