Belfast schools have displayed impressive form in the 2012 All Ireland Linguistics Olympiad (AILO) with success in both the individual and team competitions. The results of this year’s national final, which were published this week, reveal that Dale Walmsley of Wellington College took individual gold and Methodist College retained the team title that it secured last year. The national finals of the competition were hosted last month at Dublin City University.
